Since its inception in 2004, BETA has:
 Founded Lebanon’s first dog and cat shelter.
Since 2004, Beta has rescued and cared for over 1500 stray and abused dogs and cats.
Succeeded in getting over 800 dogs and cats rehomed.
Spayed and neutered 1800 stray dogs and cats
Rescued Primates such as Baboons and Vervets from appalling conditions and sent them to a Primate Sanctuary in South Wales.
Created and launched a website at www.betalebanon.org in finding homes for some of its rescued animals and in attracting volunteers and international supporters.
BETA has spread awareness about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership through its mailing list and local awareness campaigns.
