We are extremely pleased to advise all of our members and supporters that the internationally renowned Fondation Brigitte Bardot, has kindly sent a grant to BETA for the spaying/neutering of 350 dogs. In common with BETA the 'Fondation Brigitte Bardot' consider that this is the most humane and effective method of controlling and helping all the abused and tortured animals who have no other recourse than to live out their extremely difficult and often miserable lives on our streets.
The Fondation Brigitte Bardot, founded in 1986, fights to defend animal rights but does not specialize in a specific area. Its' ambition is to be at the heart of the fight for all animal rights, whatever this may entail. It acts to heighten awareness, inform, relieve and save. It intervenes anywhere in the world where there is mistreatment of and cruelty towards animals, and works with and helps locally acknowledged and respected animal welfare societies such as BETA. Brigitte Bardot has tirelessly pursued this battle. Her persistency, willpower and unreserved love for animals have elevated her to the rank of International Ambassadress for the protection of Animals.
